Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a senior Production Shift Supervisor to direct and coordinate all aspects of plant operations on a production shift, ensuring productivity and cost efficiency. You will lead a team of 5–15 salaried staff and oversee 200+ hourly employees, driving safety, quality, and adherence to food safety programs.

Required: 8+ years in manufacturing or an Associate degree with 6+ years, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 8+ years in manufacturing.
• Associate degree with 6+ years in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all shift production operations.
• Develop good working relationships and maintain morale while handling administrative duties related to production.
• Manage production objectives and ensure targets are met.
• Train employees and conduct monthly shift safety meetings.
• Oversee quality assurance and food safety compliance (HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs).
• Handle employee grievances and foster safe work environment.
• Lead and supervise 5–15 salaried and 200+ hourly staff.
