Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms seeks a seasoned production leader to direct a plant shift, ensuring productivity and compliance with HACCP, GMPs, and OSHA guidelines. You will guide 5–15 salaried staff and influence over 200+ hourly workers while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include training, setting production objectives, and driving continuous improvement to meet schedules and budgets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 8+ years in a similar manufacturing environment or an Associates with 6+ years experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline plus 8+ years in food manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct shift production operations and manage 5–15 salaried staff with oversight of 200+ hourly employees.
• Foster high morale, develop training programs, and conduct monthly safety meetings.
