Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream in Bakersfield, CA seeks a Safety Technician to enforce and improve site safety and security programs under the Safety Manager. Qualifications

• Two years safety and/or security experience preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA standards and safety policies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily safety audits and inspections.
• Deliver hands-on Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training.
• Develop safety procedures and documentation.
• Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Maintain safety training records and safety performance metrics.
