Job summary

Nylene in Henderson, KY is seeking an experienced Industrial Safety Specialist to lead safety programs in an industrial manufacturing setting. Qualifications

• Industrial safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to conduct incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain facility safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA and local/state/federal compliance.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Maintain OSHA logs and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate and deliver employee safety training.
• Administer LOTO, confined space, PPE and hazard communication programs.
• Monitor contractor safety and ensure safe work practices.
• Track safety metrics and report to leadership.
• Support emergency preparedness and drills.
• Assist workers' compensation case management and return-to-work.
