Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of safety experience in manufacturing or food processing with leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA, USDA, and HACCP.
• Strong communication and training skills across diverse employee groups.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• CSP or similar credential is a plus.
• Proficiency with incident tracking software and MS Office.

• Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs for meat processing.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments for OSHA/USDA compliance.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Maintain records of injuries, illnesses, and safety documentation.
• Deliver safety training including PPE use, lockout/tagout, ergonomics, hazard communication.
• Coordinate with HR, operations, and maintenance to promote safety.
• Monitor safety metrics and report trends with improvements.
• Manage emergency preparedness, drills, and first aid readiness.
• Engage employees in safety initiatives through committees and feedback.
