You will work with production, QA, and suppliers to keep shipments on time and costs down.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, preferably in the food industry with a focus on meat or perishable goods.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to operate or to quickly learn equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the scheduling and dispatching of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for production needs while minimizing excess stock.
• Oversee the order fulfillment process, from receiving orders to ensuring accurate and timely delivery to customers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics activities, including shipping documents, inventory records, and compliance documentation.
• Address and resolve any issues or disruptions in the supply chain, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Work closely with other logistic team members and other departments, including production and quality assurance, to align logistics activities with overall business goals.
• Generate and analyze logistics reports to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
