Job summary

thyssenkrupp Elevator is seeking a Safety Manager for our Fort Worth, TX facility to lead health, safety and security programs, ensuring an accident-free work environment.

You will develop OSHA-compliant policies, train staff, perform inspections and incident investigations, compile reports, and drive improvements with site leadership, leveraging SAP and MS Office to analyze data.

Spanish language ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in an H&S role in manufacturing.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Independent decision-making with good judgement.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish.
• SAP experience and MS Office proficiency.
• Observe OSHA regulations and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety culture, policies and compliance with OSHA rules.
• Plan and implement safety training programs and topics.
• Inspect facilities and conduct risk assessments with root-cause follow-up.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses; prepare reports for HR.
• Perform compliance audits and manage Emergency Preparedness programs.
• Establish and monitor KPIs; generate monthly safety reports.
• Collaborate with Supervisors/Managers on safety improvements and contractor management.
• Lead and participate in safety meetings and company initiatives.
