Job summary

The Head of Health & Safety at thyssenkrupp Polysius North America, Inc. will champion health and safety initiatives across engineering, field service installations, and operations. You will direct policies, procedures, and programs to embed safety in every decision and action.

This role requires a bachelor’s in occupational health and safety and at least five years of related experience, including three years in a lead OSH position in cement or construction. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in a lead OSH role in a cement plant and/or a construction site.
• Must have extensive knowledge of OSHA standards in construction and general industries.
• Must have extensive knowledge of MSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of health and safety policies and programs.
• Oversee OSH compliance for all business activities.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory agencies and inspections.
• Conduct on-site safety audits and investigations to drive corrective actions.
