Job summary

Thyssenkrupp in Kansas seeks a Warehouse Team Lead to coordinate activities on the warehouse floor and supervise a team of up to 15. You will train staff, ensure safety compliance, and maintain accurate documentation while interacting with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities include shift coordination, tool readiness, and contributing to performance objectives. Familiarity with scanners/tablets and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a team lead or supervisor.
• Strong leadership and multi-tasking ability.
• Ability to manage a team of up to 15 people.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work days, afternoons, nights, overtime and weekend shifts.
• Reliable attendance is an essential part of this position.
• Experience in automotive or industrial setting is an asset – training provided.
• Must be comfortable working with scanners and tablets for data keeping and time entries.
• Previous professional interactions with customers and/or vendors.
• Must read, write and speak basic English.
• Computer literate, able to utilize MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and email software.
• Safety Mindset.
• Forklift experience (preferred).
• Understanding of measurement units and tolerancing; ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the inspection process and customer product inspection for assigned tables.
• Lead by example, stay organized, maintain housekeeping.
• Ensure all employees work safely per policies and procedures.
• Report accidents or incidents immediately to a supervisor.
• Coordinate shift start activities (table requirements, paperwork, duties).
• Ensure tools and materials are available for on-site completion.
• Provide on-the-job training for new work instructions when applicable.
• Be accountable for all personnel assigned to specific jobs.
• Provide input to Onsite Manager regarding task completion.
