Job summary

You will recruit and train staff, conduct performance reviews, oversee safety programs, manage workloads, and maintain records, with hands-on duties on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery. Candidates should have supervisory experience (2-3 years), basic math and reading skills, forklift experience, and the ability to lead

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic math and reading skills.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate with management and staff.
• Leadership and team-building abilities demonstrated in past roles.
• Forklift experience and basic measuring skills; safety-minded.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2–3 years supervisory experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Meet production and distribution objectives within the budget.
• Coach, supervise and perform performance reviews for the team.
• Direct workload priorities and review work assignments.
• Ensure safety training, proper equipment use and policy compliance.
• Maintain communications with customers and suppliers.
• Record-keeping, reporting accidents, and incident documentation.
• Operate on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
• Apply 8D, 5 Why, Kaizen to resolve quality issues.
