Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking a Manager, Plant Health & Safety in Coolidge, AZ to lead the company-wide health and safety programs. The role ensures compliance with OSHA, DOT, and environmental rules, while driving a culture of safety across all plant operations.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in a science/engineering/safety field with 5+ years of experience; ASP/CSP is preferred. Onsite work with emphasis on training, audits, and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, or safety field.
• 5+ years of health and safety experience.
• ASP/CSP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the health and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Audit plant departments and implement corrective actions for safety, health and environmental requirements.
• Provide technical assistance to the Plant Manager in controlling injuries and liabilities and establish compliant policies.
• Develop and track safety KPIs and monitor trends to drive continuous improvement.
• Represent the company with OSHA and other regulatory officials during inspections and investigations.
• Coordinate health and safety training for on-site personnel and maintain training records.
• Maintain PPE supplies and oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
