Job summary

Pratt (Jet Corr), Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager for our Ohio manufacturing site. This full-time role will develop and oversee safety policies, lead inspections, trainings, and incident investigations to ensure compliance with company standards and government regulations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of safety management experience in manufacturing, a safety/environmental degree (preferred), and strong communication skills to train staff and foster a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Associate degree in Safety, Environmental or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in safety management within manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Safety Program Management: Develop, implement, and oversee safety programs and policies.
• Lead safety inspections, meetings, and training sessions.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and corrective actions.
• Train staff on safety practices, including programs like Hearing Conservation, Haz-Com, LOTO, Forklift Safety, First Responder Training.
• Manage incident reporting and investigations; maintain documentation and corrective actions.
• Prepare OSHA 300, 300A, 301 reports and support workers' comp processes.
