Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced supervisor to guide production, safety, shipping, planning, receiving, and maintenance. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and production understanding, with a strong focus on directing teams and aligning objectives with company standards.

You will supervise staff, enforce safety, manage materials, and drive continuous improvement through training, toolbox talks, and 5S initiatives across the plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of manufacturing/production supervisory experience.
• Understanding of planning and processes in a recycling environment and safety/regulatory impacts.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the company.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the work of employees.
• Ensure equipment is operated per O&M manual.
• Check incoming and outgoing materials for quality.
• Maintain safety programs and daily housekeeping.
• Enforce safety rules and ensure staff are trained on mobile equipment.
• Manage inventories and schedule trucks based on daily production.
• Conduct daily Toolbox meetings and implement 5S.
• Prepare and review safety training records and JSAs.
