Job summary

Parker Hannifin in Kearney, Nebraska is seeking a Safety Coordinator to partner with site EHS to advance our WIN Strategy and help achieve zero incidents. The role involves coordinating safety activities, promoting a safety-first culture, and ensuring compliance across shifts.

You will maintain safety records, assist with onboarding and training, participate in incident investigations, and provide feedback to leadership to improve performance and engagement at the facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• OSHA 10/30 hour or safety certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teambuilding skills are essential.
• Ability to multi-task and solve problems effectively.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety programs to promote a safety-first culture.
• Develop and enforce safety policies, safe procedures, checklists, etc.
• Maintain record keeping for safety programs.
• Communicate safety progress with plant leadership.
• Follow up on Gensuite leading indicators – concerns, incidents.
• Assist with new hire onboarding and safety training.
