Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation's Parker Aerospace segment seeks an EHS Manager to coordinate environmental, health and safety programs at the Mentor, Ohio facility. This role focuses on regulatory compliance, safety training, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

You will lead audits, implement ISO 14001, drive energy and waste reduction, and partner with Lean, Quality and HR to embed an EHS culture that protects employees and the environment while supporting business growth.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree in a related technical or business discipline.
• Six or more years of professional experience in EHS leadership.
• Certification or a professional designation may be required or preferred.
• Proven competency in a team leader role for two+ years.
• Knowledge of products, manufacturing processes, and EHS practices.
• Ability to lead safety and environmental programs.

Responsibilities

• Execute EHS programs and procedures to meet enterprise EHS objectives.
• Maintain ISO 14001 and other certifications.
• EHS reporting against targets and regulatory requirements.
• Manage EHS training program.
• Coordinate corrective action and audits.
• Coordinate resource conservation (energy, water, waste).
• Support changes (new processes, equipment).
• Assist acquisitions, divestitures, closures and remediation.
• Integrate EHS with Lean, Quality, Supply Chain, HR, Sales, Service and Innovation.
• Foster an EHS culture of safety and environmental excellence.
• Manage EHS aspects of on-site contractors.
