Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Plant Maintenance Manager for our Pembroke, NC facility to lead reliability and maintenance strategies across the plant. You will focus on reducing equipment deterioration, safety, and food safety, while coaching teams to drive losses out at all levels.

You will partner with engineering and QA to ensure RAMS, preventive maintenance, and preventive actions align with HACCP/GMP standards, enabling reliable production of premium desserts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent management experience in maintenance or reliability.
• 5+ years of experience with CMMS systems.
• 7+ years of technical manufacturing leadership of teams of 3–8 individuals.
• Experience leading TPM implementation and/or AM and PM implementations.
• General knowledge of USDA, SQF, BRC, GMP, and HACCP, sanitation, quality, and safety programs.
• Experience leading continuous improvement projects.
• Ability to influence plant leadership and drive cultural change regarding Safety, Food Quality and Reliability.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for overall reliability and availability of equipment and maintenance labor and expense budget.
• Lead execution of capital plan and small infrastructure projects.
• Identify, develop, and empower talent for bench strength and advancement.
• Own the Maintenance Department SWP Board and coach KPIs across the workforce.
• Set standards for breakdown elimination, planning & scheduling, lubrication, PM, and inventory mgmt.
• Collaborate with Plant Leadership to improve equipment via preventive/predictive maintenance.
