Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Plant Maintenance Manager for the Pembroke, NC facility to lead maintenance practices ensuring reliability, safety, and food safety. You will manage equipment reliability, maintenance budgeting, and capital projects while coaching teams to reduce losses.

You will drive preventive and predictive maintenance, collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Plant leadership, and mentor staff to build bench strength and ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with CMMS systems.
• 7+ years of technical manufacturing leadership with teams of 3–8.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for overall reliability and availability of equipment and maintenance budget.
• Lead capital projects and small infrastructure initiatives.
• Develop and mentor talent to ensure bench strength and progression.
• Own the Maintenance Department SWP Board and coach KPIs across teams.
• Implement standards for breakdown elimination, planning, lubrication, and predictive maintenance.
• Partner with plant leadership to achieve equipment improvements using preventive/predictive maintenance tools.
• Support Autonomous Maintenance and safety practices to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Utilize data analysis to identify top losses and allocate resources accordingly.
• Support plant projects to meet productivity goals and RAMS deliverables.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to uphold GMP, HACCP, and FSQI.
