Job summary

Bel Brands is seeking a Reliability Technologist to improve plant equipment performance and OEE. The role focuses on predictive maintenance programs, training, machine design improvements, and electrical/controls troubleshooting.

Responsibilities include leading improvement initiatives, developing maintenance strategies, and mentoring staff on problem solving and safety practices in a food manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• 3–5 years of reliability or maintenance-focused manufacturing experience.
• Experience in food manufacturing and lean/six sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Improve operational performance and technical reliability.
• Lead OEE improvement initiatives and taskforces.
• Manage continuous improvement project plans (capital and operational).
• Learn and apply problem-solving tools and methodologies.
• Suggest improvements for day-to-day production and maintenance needs.
• Analyze daily reports to plan actions for performance.
• Mentor colleagues in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and safety.
