Job summary

Tokai Carbon CB Ltd. seeks a Project Reliability Engineer to drive loss elimination and project management from concept to commissioning. You will improve equipment availability by identifying and implementing reliability improvements, working with operations, maintenance and hourly staff.

Responsibilities include leading reliability analyses, developing plans, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while keeping projects on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• B.S.M.E. with 7+ years of experience in a chemical plant environment.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in reports.
• Experience developing mechanical integrity programs and PdM technologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage asset reliability risks that could affect plant operations.
• Lead reliability analyses (Pareto, FMEA) to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets and schedules from concept through turnover.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance and engineering to implement improvements.
• Ensure projects meet safety, regulatory and environmental requirements.
• Prepare RFQs, cost estimates, justifications, and AFE documentation.
