Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the plant maintenance function, driving a transition from reactive to planned, preventive, and reliability-focused maintenance. The role requires strong technical judgment and hands-on leadership to establish standards, manage critical equipment, and improve downtime metrics.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience developing or improving preventive maintenance and reliability programs.
• Experience with equipment criticality assessments and critical spare-parts management.
• Working knowledge of CMMS/work-order systems and maintenance planning practices.
• Demonstrated experience reducing downtime and addressing recurring equipment failures through structured problem solving and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance strategy to transition from reactive to planned and preventive maintenance.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance procedures and frequencies.
• Coordinate PM schedules with Production to minimize disruption.
• Track PM completion and compliance and address overdue work.
• Lead or support root cause analysis for significant equipment failures.
