Job summary

Bunge in Kearny, New Jersey, seeks a Maintenance Manager to provide leadership for the reliability function and to maximize asset life cycle costs. You will report to the Plant Manager and Regional Reliability Engineer, shaping maintenance systems and processes to foster a proactive culture focused on reliability and safe operations.

You will lead the maintenance workforce, develop succession plans, manage spare parts, and drive continuous improvements using RCA and standard work flows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in reliability and maintenance positions.
• Minimum Level 1 certification in oil analysis, vibration analysis, ultrasonic, thermography preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Experience with standard corporate maintenance work flow processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead Root Cause Failure Analysis reviews.
• Strong communication skills and tact with plant staff and maintenance personnel.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with CMMS, preferably SAP Plant Maintenance & Materials Management modules.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to reliability function and supports Plant Manager and Regional Reliability Engineer.
• Develops and controls maintenance budget for capacity and asset reliability.
• Ensures following standard reliability and maintenance work processes.
• Manages reliability workforce, succession planning and training.
• Manages spare parts warehouse and inventory optimization.
• Benchmarks performance and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supports change management studies and signs off on changes.
• Executes reliability strategy and reduces equipment failures through RCA.
