Job summary

Bunge is seeking a Maintenance Planner in Kearny, NJ to optimize workforce productivity by planning materials, procedures, and resources for maintenance work in the assigned area.

The role requires 5+ years in plant maintenance (millwright/electrician), strong blueprint reading, and the ability to estimate labor hours and costs; offers comprehensive benefits and an annual incentive bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year vocational or technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in plant maintenance (millwright or electrician).
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
• Strong mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and screen each work order for proper completion.
• Develop and maintain planned and predictive maintenance procedures.
• Identify and obtain materials, tools and equipment for work orders.
• Determine stock availability of critical items and ensure timely procurement.
• Estimate costs and maintain backlog with scheduling priorities.
• Develop standard work orders for recurring jobs and compare actual vs estimated labor/materials.
• Train maintenance personnel on procedures and applicable maintenance software.
• Update machine history data and BOM in the system.
• Understand proper methods for replacing or maintaining typical mechanical equipment.
