Job summary

Bunge in Destrehan, Louisiana, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the reliability and maintenance function, ensuring safe, efficient use of resources and high asset performance. The role reports to the maintenance manager and guides capacity planning, lifecycle cost, and best practices across maintenance activities.

You will drive a proactive, safety-focused culture, manage budgets, supervise teams, and oversee root cause analysis to prevent failures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science with 5+ years in reliability/maintenance focusing on electrical.
• Experience with standard corporate maintenance workflow processes.
• Proven Root Cause Failure Analysis leadership.
• Strong communication and Excel skills; CMMS/SAP PM/MM experience.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a culture of environmental, health, and safety excellence.
• Manages the maintenance and reliability budget to optimize spending and asset reliability.
• Ensures compliance with standard reliability and maintenance processes.
• Provides input on succession planning, workforce development and training.
• Manages critical spare parts inventory and leverages automated requisition processes.
• Contributes performance data for benchmarking and continuous improvement.
• Supports Management of Change to safely implement changes.
• Executes and improves the site's reliability strategy.
• Fosters a proactive maintenance culture with RCA to identify root causes.
• Supports tools and systems for preventive maintenance and work order planning.
• Maximizes maintenance efficiency through effective scheduling and kitting.
