Job summary

Atrium Staffing clients are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to maximize plant efficiency by optimizing utilities and reducing downtime. You will oversee boilers, steam, water, and compressed air systems, drive reliability, and lead improvement projects across production units.

The role requires 3+ years in industrial environments, deep knowledge of PM/RCM/TPM/CMMS, and a Mechanical Engineering degree. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in chemical manufacturing or similar industrial environments.
• Knowledge of PM, PDM, CMMS, RCM, and TPM maintenance methods.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience coordinating maintenance personnel and contractors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and performance of facility utility systems and report metrics.
• Drive reliability and asset performance improvements through proactive maintenance.
• Collaborate with Production to maximize uptime and support quality goals.
• Provide engineering expertise and troubleshooting for maintenance issues.
• Conduct failure analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate and enhance preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with Operations leadership to align priorities.
• Lead capital and process improvement projects from concept to startup.
• Manage third-party contractors safely and effectively.
