Job summary

Siemens Energy Staffing is seeking a Plant Engineer to serve as the site's technical engineering specialist, driving performance improvements and regulatory compliance at a U.S. power facility.

In this role you will analyze equipment performance, support NERC compliance efforts, and coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and corporate teams. Strong expertise in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7–10 years of power plant operations, maintenance, or engineering experience.
• Proficiency in electrical, instrumentation and control, mechanical, and power generation systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and evaluation for operating, maintenance, performance, or reliability problems.
• Analyze plant performance, availability, reliability, and operating data to drive improvements.
• Review changes and projects for technical adequacy and regulatory impacts (NERC).
• Coordinate and support compliance programs and site technical compliance resources.
• Maintain compliance records, test reports, and operation data.
• Support preparation and submission of regulatory reports and data requests.
• Coordinate site activities for compliance audits and inquiries.
• Develop operating procedures and maintenance plans aligned with OEM and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in root cause analyses and investigations of equipment issues.
