Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a Quality Systems Manager to oversee quality, environmental, health and food safety programs within the plant, ensuring production meets customer needs and regulatory standards.

As a key member of the plant management team, you will lead continuous improvement, manage data analysis, and coordinate with customers to address audits and requests while driving performance and profitability. The role also requires travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, statistics, or engineering is required.
• Seven (7) years’ experience in corrugated manufacturing operations.
• Five (5) years’ experience with lean manufacturing tools such as root cause analysis, five why analysis, and FMEA.
• Experience with food safety and managing food programs.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain a culture of continuous improvement across the plant by implementing the action plan to meet quality and food safety standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to manage, maintain, and improve manufacturing quality and food safety systems.
• Facilitate and maintain EHS programs including training and audits.
• Lead the plant health and safety team as requested.
• Analyze production and incident data, identify root cause, and implement quality protocols.
• Coordinate quality processes and customer interactions, including audits and letters of guarantee.
