Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) seeks a Quality Systems Manager to oversee quality, environmental, health, and food safety programs at the plant. You will drive continuous improvement, lead EHS initiatives, and coordinate with production to ensure high product quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in corrugated manufacturing, with lean tools and food safety program experience. Travel and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, science, statistics, or engineering.
• Seven (7) years’ experience in corrugated manufacturing operations.
• Five (5) years’ experience with lean manufacturing tools (root cause analysis, five why, FMEA).
• Experience with food safety and managing food programs.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain a culture of Continuous Improvement across the plant by developing and implementing the plant’s action plan to meet corporate and customer quality and food safety standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to manage, maintain, and improve manufacturing quality and food safety systems including data collection and reporting.
• Facilitate and maintain EHS programs including trainings and audits.
• Lead the plant health and safety team and serve as the key point of contact for the EHS group.
• Analyze production and incident data, identify root causes and improvements, and implement quality and safety protocols.
• Manage customer interactions, audits, and information requests to strengthen relationships.
