Job summary

Printpack Inc. in Bloomington, IN, is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality initiatives, coordinate ISO systems, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

You will own the quality function from lab operations to customer relationships and ensure food safety and quality standards are maintained. You will lead a team to resolve issues, implement corrective actions, and partner with suppliers to improve material quality while contributing to new product launches.

Qualifications

• Quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001 system administration
• Experience with Food Safety systems (ISO 22000, SQF, or equivalent)
• Working knowledge of statistical quality control and lean manufacturing principles

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve ISO 9001 & ISO 22000 Quality Management Systems
• Oversee QC Lab operations, calibration programs, and test method development
• Drive customer complaint resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions
• Manage supplier quality issues and incoming material performance
• Champion continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across the plant
• Support new product commercialization by establishing quality standards from development through launch
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing quality team
• Serve as the plant's primary quality contact for customers, auditors, and suppliers
