Job summary

Responsibilities include purchasing materials for Packaging, backing up the Production Coordinator, and communicating daily production needs while ensuring material quality and orderly work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Purchasing/parts room inventory or vendor relations experience preferred.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Bi-lingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process requisitions, issue and track purchase orders.
• Maintain a database to track all orders and vendor contacts.
• Purchase materials for Packaging department.
• Back up Production Coordinator during absences.
• Communicate production needs for the next day.
• Verify quality of all materials received.
• Cover breaks for Packaging Inventory Clerk.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
