Job summary

Synectics Inc. seeks a Plant Project Engineer to lead manufacturing, facility, and capital-improvement projects from concept through closeout. This role focuses on safety, quality, productivity, reliability, and cost efficiency within a manufacturing environment.

You will manage scope, budgets, schedules, and vendor involvement, ensure codes and standards compliance, and drive cross-functional improvements. Travel for milestones is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing/plant engineering experience.
• Experience with project management and capital improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant-level capital, facility, and manufacturing improvement projects.
• Manage projects including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, equipment design, installation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, productivity improvement, quality enhancement, and increased equipment reliability.
