CapstoneONE Search seeks a Manufacturing Project Engineer to support current operations and major capital projects through CAD-based plant layouts, equipment design, and process improvements.
You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, and suppliers to drive projects from concept to installation, delivering practical, reliable manufacturing solutions in a dynamic plant environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
- Hands-on proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
- 2+ years engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Experience with capital projects, equipment installation, or plant layout is a plus.
- Strong ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage projects end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CAD drawings for plant layouts, equipment placement, production cells, machinery, utilities, piping, and expansions.
- Design and support modifications to manufacturing equipment, tooling, and plant infrastructure based on space, safety, ergonomics, and growth needs.
- Lead capital projects from concept through installation, including equipment upgrades and process improvements.
- Evaluate proposals, equipment requirements, and technical specs to determine feasibility and design solutions.
- Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to minimize production disruption.
