- 12 hour rotating shifts-(Currently 7 days on and 7 days off from 6am to 6pm, one week off, then switch to evenings 6pm to 6am).
- On-Call Required/Rotating with another Production Technician
- $28-$38 per hour DOE

The Production Plant Technician has the responsibility for the operation and control of equipment used in air separation, vacuum swing absorption and carbon dioxide plants.; also accountability for the care and maintenance of plant mechanical, instrumentation and electrical devices and equipment. The position will provide support to various types of processing plants in order to support startups, training and leave coverage for normal production technicians.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 2 – 3 years of industrial plant / cryogenic plant experience.
- Understanding of control valve functions and systems used to control flows & pressures on industrial tanks
- Experience troubleshooting equipment in a plant environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
- Ability to work shifts with on-call rotation.
- Overall understanding of plant safety rules, regulations, company safety policies/procedures.
- Acquiring knowledge/ability in all plant operations including processes/equipment.
- Exhibits understanding of governmental regulations including environmental permitting/compliance, loading /quality assurance, basic electricity, national/local operating procedures, CMMS, maintenance management process, all HSE issues associated with the facility.
- Exhibits mechanical ability.
- Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to wear required PPE safety equipment to include, but not limited to, hardhat, safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, FRC clothing, respirators,
- Must be able to lift 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications
- Air Separation Plant or related industrial experience is a plus.
- Cryogenics Operations - Natural Gas is a plus.
- Water Treatment – understanding the water treatment principles and equipment is a plus.
- Refrigeration - A basic understanding of refrigeration systems is a plus
- Air Separation - A basic understanding of air separation and associated technologies is a plus.
- Electrical/ Instrumentation background is a plus.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work overtime and off shifts when requested.
- Must be able to share on-call responsibilities to facilitate uninterrupted plant operation.
- Must have the ability to work alone, weekends, and holidays.
- TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Occasionally. (1-33% of work time)
