Job summary

Arcosa Crushed Concrete actively seeks dependable personnel to support production operations in Lakeland, FL. Travel between yards will be required to meet operational needs, while adhering to safety policies and OSHA/TCEQ regulations to ensure safe, compliant work daily.

Daily maintenance inspections keep equipment reliable, with attention to cleanliness and hazard reporting. The role includes lifting and moving materials, assisting with repairs, and cross-training for broader production goals.

Qualifications

• Some experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Travel between yards based on operational needs.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA/TCEQ regulations; inspect daily and report deficiencies.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area and report safety/maintenance issues.
• Perform lifting, pulling, carrying and other manual tasks to operate equipment that crushes concrete and removes rebar.
• Repair and maintain plant equipment, including screen changes, belt repairs, wear parts replacement, crusher liner changes, and water pump service.
• Assist with plant operations; clean, wash, sweep, and shovel materials; ensure misters operate to minimize dust.
• Willingness to cross-train and safely perform other job duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
