Arcosa Crushed Concrete in Lakeland, FL is hiring for a production operations role. The position involves travel between yards to support crushing operations and daily plant maintenance to maximize uptime and safety.

Responsibilities include operating equipment to crush concrete, performing inspections, maintaining cleanliness, and aiding with various plant tasks. Overtime, outdoor work, and safety compliance are required; 18+ years old candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Travel between yards based on operational needs
• Performs daily maintenance inspections of the plant and equipment to ensure safe, reliable operations and maximize production
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and reports safety or maintenance issues
• Performs lifting, pulling, carrying and other manual labor tasks to operate equipment that crushes concrete and removes rebar and debris
• Repairs and maintains plant equipment including screen changes, conveyor belt repair, wear parts replacement, crusher liner changes, and water pump service
• Performs a variety of tasks to assist with plant operations, including cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials; ensures misters reduce dust
• Willingness to cross-train and perform other jobs as needed to meet productivity goals
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
