Ball Corporation in Fort Worth is seeking a Supervisor for General Plant Production to oversee the plant production function, ensure safety, quality, and adherence to Ball Packaging Operations standards. The role requires leading a team, coordinating training and development, and maintaining accurate production records.

You will manage shift operations, schedule vacations and overtime, and communicate across crews.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of job-related manufacturing experience.
• Supervision of plant production and shift operations.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from computer systems.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a safe and secure work environment and conduct safety inspections.
• Support development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the food safety system.
• Maintain process quality in accordance with Ball Packaging Operations standards.
• Serve as the facilitator (in charge) of the plant during designated periods as directed.
• Provide administration and supervision of the plant production function as directed.
• Review the performance and development of subordinates on an individual basis.
• Arrange on-the-job training and development of subordinates' skills.
• Produce production, spoilage, and maintenance records; manage attendance and evaluations.
• Schedule subordinates' vacations, overtime, holidays, and assignments.
• Communicate between crew operations and disseminate information.
• Accesses, inputs, and retrieves information from the computer systems.
• Initiate and follow SOPs for areas of responsibility.
• Maintain relations with local bargaining unit and ensure productivity.
• Handle environmental requirements and safety practices in line with SOPs.
• Understand and respond to emergency procedures and contingency plans.
• Maintain environmental documentation as trained.
