Arcosa Crushed Concrete in Lakeland, FL is seeking a reliable plant operator to support daily production and maintenance activities across multiple yards. The role requires following all safety policies and environmental regulations, performing routine inspections, handling manual tasks, and assisting with equipment repairs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Some experience in related work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel between yards based on operational needs.
• Follow all safety policies and regulations; inspect daily and report deficiencies to supervisor.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections of the plant and equipment to maximize safety and production.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and monitor site for safety or maintenance issues.
• Perform lifting and manual labor to operate equipment for crushing concrete and removing debris.
• Repair and maintain plant equipment including screens, belts, wear parts, crushers, and pumps.
• Assist with plant operations such as cleaning, washing, sweeping, and dust control measures.
• Willingness to cross-train and safely perform other duties as needed to achieve productivity goals.
• Perform other duties as required.
