Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a Production Manager to lead and direct our production and maintenance operations at the Madera plant. You will drive safety, improve processes, and align daily production plans with budgeted costs and delivery schedules.

You will develop training, manage maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with standards while coordinating with scheduling, sales, engineering, and other functions. A strong background in industrial leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma with 3+ years leadership experience in an industrial environment.
• Associate’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Production or related field; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain safety and continuous flow production methods with the plant manager.
• Identify and implement process improvements; target RM cost reduction and better asset utilization.
• Improve leadership, team dynamics, and succession planning with the plant manager.
• Sign off with scheduler on daily/weekly production schedules.
• Establish clear communications for staff via safety huddles, meetings, and planning.
• Ensure proper training of employees with leads and a formal trainer.
• Oversee plant layout for safety and efficiency.
• Utilize inventory management to meet finished goods targets.
• Ensure OSHA compliance training is conducted on schedule with EH&S.
• Engage safety committee to promote safety programs and improvements.
• Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance with the maintenance manager.
• Maintain knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment; adapt to industry advances.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
