Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a full-time Production Lead to supervise and train production personnel during the shift. You will ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery of products across the line while upholding company policies and procedures.

You will operate all stations for training and troubleshooting, conduct shift briefings, verify safety equipment usage, and coordinate with the Production Manager on workflow, performance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of lead/supervisory experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise personnel, production workflow, safety and quality.
  • Operate all stations of the work center for training and troubleshooting.
  • Confirm safety procedures are followed and enforce safety rules.
  • Assist Production Manager with personnel and workflow coordination.
  • Train new hires and transfers into the department.
  • Conduct shift start/end meetings and pass on critical information.
  • Lead safety briefings and assign shift tasks.
  • Ensure proper PPE is worn and safety awareness is maintained.
  • Report hazards or equipment issues to maintenance/safety.
  • Provide feedback on performance and ensure attendance and compliance.
  • Assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Produce end-of-shift production reports including back orders and hot items.
