Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing leadership.
• Proven work experience as a plant manager or equivalent.
• Adequate knowledge of budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources.
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, inventory and stewardship processes.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads strategic initiatives and vision for a high-performing department to enhance performance and productivity.
• Drives the development and implementation of improvements in production methods for increased efficiency.
• Contributes to budget preparation for production expenses and capital investment requests.
• Administers and enforces company policies within the assigned area.
• Monitors operations and trigger corrective actions
• Commits to plant safety procedures
• Stays up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts
