Job summary

AAON, Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to guide a high-functioning area, optimize performance, and drive productivity enhancements.

The role focuses on developing and implementing smarter production methods while participating in budget planning for expenses and capital investments. The candidate should bring a BS in Production Management or related field, or 6–8 years in manufacturing, with Lean Manufacturing experience, plus strong leadership and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Production Management, Operations, or related field or 6 to 8 years' experience in manufacturing, production, supply chain, or related area.
• Prior work experience with Lean Manufacturing processes.
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives and vision for a high-performing department to enhance performance and productivity.
• Develop and implement improvements in production methods for increased efficiency.
• Contribute to budget preparation for production expenses and capital investment requests.
• Administer and enforce company policies within the assigned area.
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
• Commitment to plant safety procedures.
• Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts.
