Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Procurement Operations Manager to join our Lafayette, IN manufacturing facility. You will lead the plant procurement team, own external spend and supplier performance, and drive cost savings while building process discipline across MRO, contractors, and service providers.

You will report to the Director of Procurement Operations, partner with operations and finance, and manage a small team with clear accountability. This role is on-site with full benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
5+ years of purchasing management experience.
Background in manufacturing; automotive or aerospace is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the plant procurement team and storeroom end to end.
Own external spend for the facility with best total cost and supplier performance.
Manage MRO supplies, contractors, and third-party services.
Build and execute plans driving cost savings, working capital, and efficiency.
Run Kaizen workshops and supplier productivity sessions.
Bridge procurement with plant ops, maintenance, and finance leadership.
Oversee two direct reports: a strategic buyer and storeroom manager.
