Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead maintenance, safety, and process improvements at our Philadelphia-area plant. You will drive TPM initiatives, manage budgets, and coordinate with corporate engineering to meet cost and time objectives, while ensuring regulatory and safety compliance.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and cost reduction through technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years' directly related engineering experience.
• 1 year experience with TPM.
• No immigration sponsorship available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Train and motivate a competent workforce to meet plant needs safely.
• Provide maintenance support for maintaining customer levels.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are maintained.
• Control wastewater flow per closed drains philosophy.
• Oversee electrical, mechanical and facility maintenance including grounds and building.
• Manage plant maintenance work order program.
• Maintain labor and outside charges within budget.
• Manage plant capital expenditures budget.
• Oversee facility preventive maintenance program.
• Review purchase orders for grounds, utilities and building supplies.
• Coordinate with corporate engineering on capital budget programs.
• Interact with outside officials to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Participate on the plant environmental/compliance team.
• Support Plant OSHA compliance via safety committee audits and follow-ups.
• Participate in community events.
• Submit and implement TQIP's to reduce plant costs.
• Perform production supervisor responsibilities in absence of Supervisors.
