Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. in Millen, GA seeks an OpEx Coordinator to drive continuous improvement across the plant, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost and inventory.

Under the General Manager, you will lead OpEx initiatives and coordinate with the OpEx Leadership Team to sustain improvements. You will develop training plans, collect and analyze data, and report progress on Kaizen efforts while supporting onboarding and standard work across the plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years manufacturing or building industry experience.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills and ability to train others.
• Willing to learn and apply OPEX training tools in MS Teams.
• Hands-on Lean Six Sigma and CI methods experience.
• Ability to travel occasionally for training purposes.
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead OpEx initiatives to implement the plant's OpEx strategy.
• Develop and execute a training plan for associates, supervisors, and managers.
• Data collection, validation, performance tracking, and reporting.
• Assist onboarding for OpEx subjects and lead Kaizen Journal progress.
• Follow through with PVA audits and keep the PVA team updated on progress.
• Ensure proper setup of equipment based on OpEx outputs.
• Coordinate training, tools, and resources for all levels of the organization.
• Lead root-cause analysis and focused improvement teams to improve results.
• Attend OpEx calls and follow-through on action items.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
