Job summary

Wanzl North America is seeking an Opex Manager to lead operational excellence at the plant level. You will deploy the OPEX program, drive continuous improvement projects, and foster a culture of performance and quality across MES/ERP systems.

You’ll oversee KPI monitoring, data auditing, and the digitalization of dashboards using Power BI and Excel, while coaching supervisors and operators in OPEX tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related field (MBA a plus).
• Lean manufacturing expert with proven Value Stream Mapping experience.
• Six Sigma Black Belt with project implementation experience.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data tools (Excel/Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Deploy and sustain the OPEX program within the plant.
• Lead Lean and Six Sigma projects to reduce waste and improve KPIs.
• Monitor KPIs and audit data integrity across MES, ERP, and quality systems.
• Develop and deliver training on OPEX tools and methodologies.
• Coordinate with Production, Materials, and Quality teams.
• Drive cultural change and cross-functional collaboration.
