Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Plant Utility in Texas to support plant operations and maintain facilities. You will manage grounds, load out areas, clean and operate mobile equipment, and assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include pre-shift testing, inventory checks, light maintenance, and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards. A strong work ethic and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Industrial background with good troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to operate heavy equipment safely.
• Able to perform basic mathematical computations.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong safety mindset and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Upkeep of company grounds, buildings, and load out areas.
• Operate heavy equipment in a safe manner (haul truck, skid steer, forklift, etc.).
• Check in/out and load customer trucks for outbound delivery.
• Perform pre-start maintenance on dryer, plant processes and mills.
• Adhere to Safe Quality Feed, FSMA and GMP practices.

Education

High School Diploma, GED Equivalent
