You will adjust control settings, start pumps, record data, and cooperate with supervisors to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in a busy chemical processing facility.

Ideal candidates have hands-on industrial experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow procedures precisely.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial/manufacturing experience.
• Prefer 2-year degree in Process Technology.
• Follows written instructions and pre-established guidelines.
• Works under supervision and reports to a supervisor or manager.

Responsibilities

• Move control settings to adjust speeds and yields.
• Monitor instruments, flow meters, and indicators for conformance.
• Operate chemical processes using panel boards or semi-automatic equipment.
• Record process conditions and instrument readings.
• Report safety and efficiency issues to technical staff.
• Draw samples and perform quality control tests.
• Shut down equipment during emergencies as directed.
• Start pumps to wash reactors and regulate flows.
• Interpret reactions from sight glasses and lab reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow housekeeping rules.
