Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a plant operator to run packing equipment safely and efficiently, supporting production goals and timely shift completion. You will monitor process equipment, read instructions, plan work, move materials, and cooperate with supervision to meet performance targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant field experience.
• Ability to read instructions and plans and plan work activities.
• Follows safety rules and works under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assists in meeting plant production requirements as set by client/owner.
• Observant of operating process equipment and maintenance needs.
• Communicates with supervision to ensure maximum performance as outlined by production goals.
• Reads and interprets instructions and plans work activities.
• Moves materials and equipment to work locations and sets up work sites.
• Follows all hazardous waste handling guidelines.
• Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs cleanup.
• Observes and complies with safety and project rules; performs other duties as required.
