Qualifications

• 2-year post-secondary degrees in mining industrial technology, electrical, industrial, mechanical, maintenance, heavy equipment maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plant equipment for taconite pellet production in a self-directed environment.
• Replace idlers and scrapers; replace oil pumps; perform chute repairs; minor plumbing; cutting and welding.
• Repair cyclones and pan feeders; belt replacement; minor pipefitting; conveyor alignment; general clean up.
• Other duties as assigned.
