Qualifications

• Perform work involving two or more maintenance or craft occupations to repair machines, equipment, or buildings.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical or electrical problems using manuals and blueprints.
• Follow life safety plans and emergency procedures while maintaining facilities.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines and building systems running smoothly.
• Diagnose mechanical problems by checking manuals, blueprints, and parts catalogs.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears and other parts.
• Paint and repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, and woodwork.
• Maintain and repair specialized equipment and machinery.
• Assist EVS with cleaning and floor care duties as needed.
