PureHealth is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our critical care environment safe and reliable. You will perform preventive maintenance, repair equipment, and support life safety and building systems across the post-acute facility.

Qualifications

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines and building systems operating efficiently.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using manuals, blueprints, and catalogs.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs, as necessary
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
• Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments using tools and measurement devices
• Paint and repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, and other building parts
• Maintain and repair specialized equipment and machinery
• Follow life safety and disaster plans
• Assist EVS Department in duties including: patient area cleaning, disinfection, laundry processing, and related tasks
• Repair beds and furnishings
• Change out facility bulbs
• Manage plumbing for facility
• Relocate lifts as needed
• Pressure clean facility areas
• Utilize Building Engines to complete work orders
• Participate as a member of Life Safety and Disaster Team
